1How decision days work
- Opinions are released at 10 a.m. Eastern on scheduled decision days, most often Tuesdays and Wednesdays late in the term.
- The Court never announces in advance which cases will be decided on a given day — only that opinions are expected.
- Nearly all argued cases are decided by the end of the term in late June or early July; the busiest decision weeks are in June.
