American Hospital Assn. v. Becerra

The Supreme Court considered whether the Department of Health and Human Services could lawfully reduce Medicare reimbursement rates for prescription drugs specifically for 340B hospitals without first conducting a survey of the hospitals' acquisition costs. The Court ruled that HHS's decision to lower these rates without a survey was unlawful.
